Genre-specific equalisers in the 80's

That was not the only naive mistake that I made; I mistook the metal/normal switch on the Walkman for a genre-specific equaliser

If I remember correctly, even in the 80's not everyone got the concept of normal and metal cassettes. So, Scott Campbell might not be the only user which used it as an equalizer.

That must have been quietly nagging somewhere in the back of my brain all these years because I feel strangely enlightened as though the whole world makes much more sense now :D
